REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Thank you for your purchase from ease.day GmbH (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all digital products, online courses, cohort-based programs, coaching services, subscriptions and any other offerings sold via
second-nature.me or related domains and sales pages (“Products”).

By purchasing any of our Products, you agree to the following policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all purchases of:

  • Online courses

  • Digital downloads

  • Cohort-based / live programs

  • Coaching or consulting services

  • Workshops, webinars, and virtual events

  • Subscriptions and memberships

Unless a product-specific guarantee is provided on the sales page, the rules in this policy apply.

2. Digital Products & Online Courses (Instant Access)

Many of our Products provide immediate access upon successful payment (e.g. login credentials, videos, course platform access, downloads, community access).

Because digital content cannot be “returned,” and access constitutes full delivery of the service:

**All sales of instant-access digital products are final. We do not offer refunds once access has been granted.**

This is standard practice for digital goods and aligned with § 356 Abs. 5 BGB (Germany) and EU consumer law for digital content.

3. Live Cohort Programs & Drip-Released Content

Some Products are delivered in a live cohort format, where:

  • Onboarding or community access may begin immediately,

  • Course content unlocks gradually (“drip content”),

  • Live calls/meetings take place at scheduled times.

By joining the cohort, attending a live session, accessing onboarding materials, or engaging with provided resources, you acknowledge that: The service has begun and your statutory right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) expires.

This is compliant with:

  • § 356 Abs. 4 BGB

  • Art. 16 lit. a of the EU Consumer Rights Directive

These laws state that withdrawal rights expire once the service begins and the customer explicitly agrees to early service commencement. You will be asked to confirm this explicitly at checkout (e.g. via checkbox).

4. Coaching Services & Live Sessions

Coaching sessions (1:1 or group) are considered delivered once they occur or once attendance is offered.

Missed sessions do not create entitlement to refunds.

If a session must be rescheduled by us, we will provide an alternative date/time.

5. Product-Specific Refund Guarantees

From time to time, certain Products may include special refund guarantees (e.g., “30-day money-back guarantee”, “action-based guarantee”, “no questions asked refund,” etc.).

When such a guarantee is offered: The guarantee terms shown on the specific product's sales page override the general rules in this policy.

Guarantees may have:

  • Deadlines

  • Eligibility requirements

  • “Action-based” criteria (e.g., completing assignments before requesting a refund)

Customers must follow the instructions provided on the sales page for any such guarantee claim.

6. Exceptions Allowing Refunds

Refunds may be granted in rare cases, including:

  • Duplicate payments

  • Accidental double orders

  • Technical issues preventing access (if not resolved within a reasonable time)

  • Mistaken charges caused by our systems

Such refunds are issued at our discretion once verified.

7. How to Request a Refund or Raise a Billing Issue

If you believe a refund applies based on this policy or a product-specific guarantee, you must contact us at:

  • Reason for your request

  • Any evidence required (if applicable to a guarantee)

We respond within 5 business days.

8. Cancellation of Subscriptions or Payment Plans

If a Product includes ongoing billing (subscription or installment plan):

8.1 Cancel Anytime (when applicable)

Unless stated otherwise, you may cancel future billing at any time.
Cancellation stops
future charges, but does not refund past payments.

8.2 Payment Plans Are Not Subscriptions

A multi-month payment plan is a commitment to pay the entire amount, not a month-to-month subscription.
Canceling a payment method does not cancel the outstanding balance.

9. Chargebacks & Abuse of Refund Systems

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute while still having access to our Products is considered a violation of this policy.

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend access

  • Terminate accounts

  • Deny future purchases

  • Provide documentation to payment processors validating the delivery of service

We always encourage contacting us directly first — 99% of issues can be resolved without disputes.

10. Legal Rights in the EU / Germany

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

However, by requesting:

  • Immediate access to digital content, or

  • Early commencement of services (cohorts, coaching)

you explicitly agree to the waiver of the 14-day withdrawal right as allowed under EU law.

This will be documented during checkout.
